Am I Missing Something?
You could have been a teacher all your working life and think you have heard of everything in UK education. Recently you have heard colleagues talking about an Activity Passport.
Well, you have never heard of it.
Do I Need One?
Is it something to do with Brexit?
Will it be blue?
Is it compulsory?
Who is it for?
This is a link to what the DfE say about it.
OK, so you have now followed that link and it is a little clearer, but not much. But you are now probably wiser than 90% of your colleagues. Now you can casually ask at your next staff meeting if the school is taking on Activity Passports for the pupils, or are we leaving it for parents.
Parent After School Collection Time
Mrs Smith is sure to ask you about Activity Passports when she picks up her daughter Ella after school. Now you can sound knowledgeable and be that helpful teacher Mrs Smith admires so much. Or something like that!
If Mrs Smith wants all the gen, point her to this website, and she can answer all her own questions. Simple!
